Size of baby: A papaya. Baby weighs about 1 pound now!
Maternity clothes: Yep. This answer isn't changing really so I'm not sure of the point of keeping it on this here little survey.
Gender: Sweet baby boy! James Austin Green! James after my dad and Austin after my husband...the two best men in my life. Perfect! :)
Movement: He is kicking up a storm. It's so fun to feel him and I can tell when he is awake and sleeping. Apparently he sleeps about 12-14 hours a day.
Sleep: Sleeping really good. I have crazy energy during the day and sleep like a gem at night. So glad for this!!
What I miss: Nothing much really. Kind of miss going out with friends and having a few drinks, especially around the holidays!
Cravings: pickles and fudge rounds. haha random
Best moment this past week: Almost finished our hardwood floors. I will post a few pics below. And making some nursery progress. We ordered the glider! OH. And we booked our BabyMoon!!!
Symptoms: not much of anything new. I'm not even having nasal congestion anymore, woohoo! My only symptom really is this growing belly and my growing boobs! Whoa!
What I'm looking forward to: Christmas!!!! Can't wait to see both of our families!!!
Milestones: apparently baby really looks like a baby now and is called a "mini newborn" and he is sleeping in cycles.
Mood: happy! what else is new? I have been a little more emotional too. Not really sad but I definitely cry easier than before. This CT shooting has really been rough.
Labor Signs: negative
Wedding rings on or off: on
OK so...we booked our baby moon! We are super excited!!! We're going to Savannah, GA for 4 nights and leave in about a month! We are going mid January and hoping the weather isn't too brutally cold. We are staying at a cute little bed and breakfast called The Dresser Palmer house. We plan to relax in our cozy room, shop, eat (a lot!!) and do a few of the touristy things. Aus is also going to take a few maternity pictures of me while we are there because there are some awesome photo spots. Should be super fun!!
Also, we registered last week and I just need to take a minute and tell y'all how awesome the staff at Buy Buy Baby was. I'm not going to lie, I was kind of dreading the madness of walking around that store but they made it fun and they were sooo helpful. I have been to Babies R Us a handful of times (mostly before I was expecting to buy gifts for people) and had an AWFUL taste in my mouth. Nobody was helpful, the staff was rude and acted like I was crazy because I asked for help finding a certain bottle out of 97234 bottles on the shelf. I really felt like the girls at Buy Buy Baby cared about me and wanted to help me. They kept us laughing like crazy! And they seriously took 30 minutes talking about my bedding and nursery colors while we decided on the glider chair fabric. I feel like those girls were my friends and I could talk to them like a friend which made it so much better. I HIGHLY recommend Buy Buy Baby over Babies R Us, mostly for their awesome customer service but the products and gear are a little better too. Just my two cents and advice for anyone debating about where to register!
The chalkboard is back in action!
