JAG is ONE!

James Austin Green is ONE!
How did that happen?

Height and Weight: He weighs 22lbs 5 oz and is 29.2 inches tall. His head is still very large in the 97%! We had our 12 month doctor appt today and she said "he's perfect!"

Health: He is a healthy boy! Thank you God! He has a total of 4 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom). He did have a little eczema rash this month but we got some cream for that and it cleared up in a day or so. So far he's never really been sick.

Sleep: Sleep continues to be great. He sleeps for 12-13 hours at night and takes 2 naps a day, usually 1-1.5 hours each. He sleeps a lot it seems. Sometimes he sleeps 16 hours out of 24 hours…whoa.

Clothes: wearing 12 month clothing as most of the 18 month stuff falls off of him. He is totally true to his size. I think around 13/14 months we will have to go up to 18 months. I wish they made more sizes for kids…it's so hard to get a good fit.

Social:  He is a talkative little guy. He says mama, dada, ball, dog, hi and bye. He loves going to the gym and being outside. He loves playing with other kids - although he is a bit aggressive and loves to tackle them. We are working on that :)

Diet: He is a great eater and eats 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. He eats just about everything we give him and loves fruits and anything with cheese. He loooves hummus and loves his dinosaur spinach bites! He still nurses morning and night.

Baby Gear Love: He got a new radio flyer trike for his birthday and we love it. He never wants to get out! Our new favorite toy is this song and story learning chair. For outside his loves his picnic table and water table!

Crying: He cries when we won't let him outside, has to change clothes or diaper, sit in his car seat for too long or when he's bored and needs a change of scenery! He doesn't cry often but when he does it is usually one of those things.

Likes: To be outside all. day. long. Anything to do with water. Molly and Baxter. Eating. Riding his trike or in the stroller. Shopping at the mall. Waving at any and everyone. Clapping his hands. Dancing to "happy". Reading books. Helping with laundry or unloading the dishwasher.

Dislikes: See above with crying. Also PJ and lotion time.

Milestones: At one year you can, walk, wave hi and bye, blow a kiss, clap your hands, put your toys away, "give love" to the animals, give hugs, put your "arms up!" when getting dressed, try to put your shoes and socks on, feed yourself, turn on/off a light switch and open the garage door. You are so smart baby boy!
